Ireland's Biggest Trail Weekend
Now in its 10th edition as part of the global EcoTrail series, Wicklow set a new record in 2025 as the largest trail running event ever held in Ireland.
The Routes
Five distances share a common thread: start and finish on Bray Seafront, climb into the Wicklow Mountains, and return. The 19km route hits Bray Head, Kilruddery Estate and the Little Sugarloaf; longer distances add the Great Sugarloaf, Powerscourt Waterfall and stretches of the Wicklow Way.
Daily Chore Take
The 10km option (85% off-road) is a genuinely good first trail race — accessible terrain, a proper festival finish, and Ireland's best trail scenery without needing ultra-level fitness.
