DEKA's First London Weekend
This is DEKA's debut in the London area, and the UK's first "Trifecta" weekend — meaning all three core DEKA formats run across the same two days at one venue, letting athletes stack multiple DEKA Marks toward a full Trifecta the way Spartan racers stack Sprint, Super and Beast.
The Formats, Explained
DEKA isn't one race — it's a family of standardized 10-zone fitness circuits:
- DEKA FIT (Saturday): 10 zones + 5km of running between them — the flagship format
- DEKA MILE (Sunday): 10 zones + 1 mile of running — a shorter, faster version
- DEKA STRONG (Sunday): 10 zones, zero running — pure strength-circuit test
- DEKA ULTRA (Saturday): five full laps of the FIT course — 50 zones and roughly 25km of running, with a designated pit stop between laps
All formats use the same 10 functional zones, so times are directly comparable across the DEKA global leaderboard — and the course here is built to mirror the layout used at the DEKA World Championship.
The Venue
Farnborough International Exhibition & Conference Centre is one of the UK's largest purpose-built event spaces, better known for hosting the Farnborough International Airshow — plenty of room for a full open-plan, single-venue DEKA weekend.
Daily Chore Take
If you've only ever done DEKA FIT (or nothing DEKA at all), this is the easiest place to try STRONG or MILE back-to-back and actually feel the difference — and DEKA ULTRA is a genuinely serious test for anyone who's outgrown the standard formats.
