Now over two decades old, the Cardiff Half Marathon has grown into one of the UK's largest half marathons — more than 27,500 runners on race day alone, plus a separate junior race the day before.
The Course
Starting near Cardiff Castle, the flat, fast route passes the Principality Stadium, heads out to Cardiff Bay and across the Barrage, before looping Roath Park Lake and finishing back at the Civic Centre — genuinely varied scenery for a course built for speed.
