WHY THIS CHORE
SHOW UP READY.
A proper home-turf HYROX for the whole island of Ireland — sells out fast, and doubles as a good excuse for a Dublin weekend.
WHAT TO EXPECT
VERIFIED EVENT DETAILS · DAILY CHORE EDITORIAL COMMENTARY
Ireland's Home Race
Dublin is the only HYROX event on the island of Ireland, which makes it the natural focal point for the country's fast-growing hybrid racing scene. Athletes travel in from every county, plus a steady contingent from Northern Ireland and the UK for whom Dublin is barely further than a domestic race.
The Venue
The RDS (Royal Dublin Society) in Ballsbridge is one of Ireland's premier event spaces, with a long history hosting everything from the Dublin Horse Show to major concerts — plenty of room for the full course, warm-up areas and a proper spectator zone.
Format
Standard HYROX: 8km of running in 1km segments, alternating with eight functional stations (ski erg, sled push and pull, burpee broad jumps, rowing, farmers carry, sandbag lunges, wall balls).
Why It Sells Out
As Ireland's sole HYROX stop, Dublin fills up faster than most European races of similar size — if you're planning around this one, don't wait on registration.
Daily Chore Take
A November date gives Irish athletes a full season to prepare, and the RDS venue plus genuinely good post-race options nearby (Ballsbridge, then Temple Bar a short DART ride away) make this an easy one to build a full weekend around.
