SHOW UP READY.
Race in the morning, drink the region's namesake wine by evening — Bordeaux pairs standard HYROX racing with one of France's best food-and-wine cities.
WHAT TO EXPECT
VERIFIED EVENT DETAILS · DAILY CHORE EDITORIAL COMMENTARY
Third Time in Bordeaux
Now in its third edition, HYROX Bordeaux has settled into a five-day format at Parc des Expositions Bordeaux Lac, with Pro and relay divisions concentrated toward the end of the window and Open divisions spread across the full five days.
Format
Standard HYROX: eight 1km runs alternating with eight functional stations (ski erg, sled push and pull, burpee broad jumps, rowing, farmers carry, sandbag lunges, wall balls).
The City
Bordeaux's culinary scene is the real draw once you're done racing — Les Halles de Bacalan market for oysters and local cheese, and no shortage of places to pair recovery food with a glass of the region's namesake wine.
Daily Chore Take
A well-established, low-drama edition of HYROX with a genuinely good host city attached — Bordeaux is as much a food-and-wine weekend as a race weekend.
