Round Two in Norway
After a hugely successful debut, HYROX Oslo returns for a second edition — and this time it's bigger, with HYROX Youngstars (ages 8–15) added as the first-ever Nordic edition of the youth format.
The Venue
NOVA Spektrum sits in Lillestrøm, about 10–15 minutes by train from Oslo city centre and roughly the same from Oslo Airport — an important distinction when booking accommodation, since it's not downtown Oslo itself.
Who Shows Up
Oslo pulls a genuinely national field — Bergen, Trondheim, Stavanger — plus a strong contingent from Sweden, Denmark, Finland, Germany and the UK, drawn by what's already known as a fast, well-organized indoor course.
Format
Standard HYROX: 8km of running in 1km blocks, alternating with eight functional stations (ski erg, sled push and pull, burpee broad jumps, rowing, farmers carry, sandbag lunges, wall balls).
Daily Chore Take
Second editions are often the sweet spot — the organizational kinks from a debut are worked out, but it hasn't yet grown into an oversubscribed multi-day mega-event. A good one to catch while it's still this size.
