Racing Where the World Champions Did
Strawberry Arena hosted the 2026 PUMA HYROX World Championships in June — the season's premier event, contested only by qualified elite athletes. This December date puts the same arena in reach of everyday racers, running the standard Open, Pro, Doubles and Relay divisions.
Format
Eight kilometres of running split into 1km segments, alternating with eight functional stations: ski erg, sled push, sled pull, burpee broad jumps, rowing, farmers carry, sandbag lunges, and wall balls to finish.
Why Stockholm
Sweden's HYROX scene has grown quickly, and a four-day race window (10–13 December) means a big field spread across multiple days rather than one crowded Saturday — generally a smoother experience for first-timers.
Daily Chore Take
There's a genuine novelty to racing on the same floor as a World Championship a few months later. Combine it with Stockholm's Christmas market season for a proper Nordic race weekend.
