Belgium's HYROX Debut
Gent closes out HYROX's 2026 European calendar and marks the series' first-ever event in Belgium. The standard format applies: 8km of running split into eight 1km segments, each followed by one of eight functional stations — ski erg, sled push, sled pull, burpee broad jumps, rowing, farmers carry, sandbag lunges, and wall balls.
The City
Belgium's second-largest city by area brings a genuinely spectacular backdrop: Gravensteen castle, the Graslei quay, and Saint Bavo's Cathedral all sit within walking distance of the old town. Strong rail links make it easy to reach from across Belgium, the Netherlands and northern France.
