WHY THIS CHORE
SHOW UP READY.
One of the few HYROX races where you actually feel the outside air between stations — a genuinely different rhythm from the standard indoor-arena format.

Not Quite the Standard Format
HYROX races are almost always fully indoor, but Rome breaks that pattern: athletes complete their eight 1km running segments outside the main venue while the eight functional stations stay indoors. It's a small format twist that changes the rhythm of the whole race — real weather, real daylight, a genuine change of scenery every lap.
The Venue
Fiera di Roma, on Via Portuense, hosts the four-day race weekend for its second edition — enough scale for Open, Pro, Doubles, Doubles Pro and Relay divisions across multiple days.
Format
Standard HYROX zones (ski erg, sled push and pull, burpee broad jumps, rowing, farmers carry, sandbag lunges, wall balls), just with the running portion moved outdoors.
Daily Chore Take
If you've only ever raced HYROX indoors, Rome is worth trying purely for the format variation — the outdoor running segments genuinely change how the race feels, on top of being a solid excuse for a Rome weekend.
